LONG LIVE THE SOUL INSIDE the BLUES

LONG LIVE THE SOUL INSIDE the BLUES  (the New Year's Eve resolution song)

This ain't the end of the world

Just the end of another year

Let's toast to our survival

And the taste of a good cold beer

Don't admit we are getting older

The fun has just begun

And have our hearts dare to believe

We are forever young

Let the beat go on day & night

May the Devil never dance with you

Music will be our guiding light

Long live the soul inside the blues

Make a wish for the gift of luck

For those fallen on hard times

Be their voice, be by their side

When the world treats them unkind

Say a prayer for those who said goodbye

May they find themselves in heaven

Lets vow right here lets vow right now

They will never be forgotten

Let the beat go on day & night

May the Devil never dance with you

Music will be our guiding light

Long live the soul inside the blues

Don't let a day pass you by

You're not moved when you hear a song

Enjoy each chance in the dance of life

May the party go on and on

Ten years today and ten years more

We'll come here to sing n play

And damn we'll have one helluva time

Rockin' the night away

Let the beat go on day & night

May the Devil never dance with you

Music will be our guiding light

Long live the soul inside the blues
