 Rebecca Downes www.rebeccadownes.com

"Rebecca Downes is fast establishing herself as one of the star attractions amongst the new vanguard of blues performers in the UK, with her unique and powerful voice, drawing influences ranging from Blues and Soul to Jazz and Rock. Rebecca’s voice and performances have been, quite rightly, likened to such legendary artists as the full on Tina Turner, the bluesy feel of Etta James, and the raw power of Janis Joplin. Her passion for music comes from a deep belief in the power and authenticity of live music and a love for what she does."

The band comprises: Rebecca Downes, vocals; Dan Machin, guitar; Steve Birkett, keyboard and guitar; Dan Clark, guitar; Lloyd Daker, drums.

 Eugene Hideaway Bridges

"Born in New Orleans, Eugene is a nomadic musician living his life on the road travelling from America through Europe, to Australia with many other stops in between. A towering man with a huge voice, playing an unparalleled brand of blues, oozing enough genuine charm to light up a small city. If you like your blues music laced with soul, funk, gospel and rock, delivered with buckets of class and warmth take a listen to Eugene’s musical catalogue".

Giles Robson & The Dirty Aces

"The centrepiece of the band is vocalist and harmonica player Giles Robson and together with guitarist Filip Kozlowski they are responsible for the deadly riffs, grooves, licks and solos. All supported by a tight rhythm section of Tommy Hull bass and Simon Small drums. Their new album "From The Basement" is like a shot of adrenaline. Their steaming mix of alt-rock, classic punk, garage rock, rhythm & blues and rock & roll is reminiscent of The Black Keys and The Strypes but also influences from 60's / 70's Stones, The Stooges and Dr Feelgood are clearly audible".
