Born
in 1955 on the westside of Chicago, Red began playing piano at the age
of six, switching to guitar at age 12, & by 15 was playing and listening
to the music of the Chicago Blues scene. Seeing Muddy Waters & Howling
Wolf perform, as well as meeting Louis Armstrong & Count Basie as a 10
year old had a lasting impact on his life, & gave him a passion for
creating music of his own, while respecting the classic masters of the
blues.
