Muddy Waters Remembered
 



It's 25 years since the King of Chicago Blues died and we have arranged a very special evening to remember and pay tribute to one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century on his anniversary.
 
WEDNESDAY 30th April at THE OVAL TAVERN, OVAL ROAD, CROYDON
 
OUR SPECIAL GUESTS INCLUDE:
JOHN O'LEARY (vocals/harp),
ALAN GLEN (vocals/harp/guitar),
GILES HEDLEY (vocals/guitar),
SHAKEY VICK (vocals/harp),
STEVE MATTHEWS (guitar),
LAURIE GARMAN (harp).
 
A special house band has been assembled for the evening with ALAN VINCENT (guitar),
ALAN GLEN (guitar), JAMIE ROWAN (piano), GLYNN EVANS (bass) & JOACHIM GREVE (drums).
 
We hope you will be able to join us to celebrate a greatly missed bluesman.
Music starts at around 8.30pm and opens with a solo performance by the wonderful Giles Hedley.
The evening will be MC'd by John O'Leary.
Admission is free!
Numbers are limited so please come early to avoid disappointment.
